Dr. Cyriax has never ceased teaching, lecturing and writing. He has done the hard clinical detective work, has brought a whole area of medicine into being, piloting it from a to z. Although he has been a very dedicated and energetic pioneer, it was impossible to achieve success single-handed in so huge a task.
He therefore trained and certified some doctors and physiotherapists to go on and “spread the word”.
The international teaching team of Orthopaedic Medicine International®, OMI Global consists of a group of five doctors and thirteen physiotherapists.

Mr. Bisschop, Mink, Ombregt, ter Veer, Van de Velde and Vorselaars have been trained and examined by the late Dr Cyriax himself and certified by him as being qualified to teach his work; they have worked closely with him for years. They were members of his International Teaching Team from 1981 on and accompanied him on his international courses.
They have trained, examined and certified the other teachers. Examination procedure: Two years training as assistant teacher (theoretical and practical) followed by a theoretical and practical teacher’s examination.
The team is able to teach in five languages: Dutch, French, English, German and Italian, and also has experience with consecutive translation (Spanish, Portuguese and Polish).
The teachers all work in private practice, which helps to complement the tuition they give with a lot of clinical experience in the orthopaedic medical field.
Their teaching experience (1981-2004) is of course a guarantee for quality!
The teaching team follows the current medical literature and actualizes
the content of the course when clear new tendencies appear.
